Anne Bahati

Back in the chair, three summits on. Since the first Regional HR Talent Management Summit, the conversation has moved on to AI and productivity. The moderator who was there at the start, and has since led HR events and business forums, is back to guide it.

Anne is a seasoned Human Resources executive and human capital consultant who partners with leadership teams to align people strategy with business goals, with a focus on sustainable growth and lasting impact. She has led HR cost optimisation, digitisation and restructuring projects, and employee engagement has grown in every organisation she has served. With over 12 years in HR leadership across seven sectors (hospitality, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, education and non-profit), she has held a group mandate covering five companies.

She serves on boards and advisory platforms in healthcare, education and the humanitarian sector, and as a Certified Trustee (TDPK) facilitates conversations on governance and fiduciary responsibility. She also designs training curricula and delivers programmes on leadership, workplace culture and emotional intelligence. Through AWEC’s Community Champions Initiative and her mentorship platforms, she helps professionals grow, lead and thrive.

Her philosophy, the HTI model: Human-Centred Leadership (leading with people at the centre of decisions), Transformational HR Practices (using HR practice to improve how the organisation works) and Intentional Talent Management (attracting, developing and retaining talent deliberately).

As your moderator: Anne keeps each panel on the summit theme and draws out practical insights delegates can apply, makes space for questions from early-career professionals and senior executives alike, and keeps sessions to time and the energy in the room high.
